Projects

(Click above for the slide show.)

A few teammates and I worked throughout the Fall 2022 semester to create and present a mock "strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats" (SWOT) analysis for Tesla Inc. It was the final project for my Principles of Management class, and I chose this topic because I have always been fascinated with Tesla products and impressed with the company's rapid rise in the industry. We used Tesla's 2022 annual report and various other sources to conduct research through which we could suggest changes and reinforce good practices within Tesla's business strategies. As a result of working on this project, I learned how to operate cohesively with other colleagues, use statistics as well as academic resources to conduct research and form theories, and present information and recommendations in a professional setting. If I had a chance to do the project again, I would spend more time in thought about the company's opportunities for growth and improvement. It is very easy to see what already makes a successful company great, but it is sometimes more challenging to see what that company can do better.

Over the summer of 2023, I completed an internship with Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach where I worked in the Marketing and CRM department. I assisted with marketing campaigns and research, as well as data entry and sales reports within CRM. I participated in planning meetings, as well as producing and editing videos used in the Bank's social media and other marketing projects. The video (linked here) is a sample of my video editing work. I enjoyed gaining an overview of the marketing process and the opportunity to exercise my creative talents in film editing and production.
